Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training through competency as a moderating variable on employee performance. Sampling used a saturated sampling technique with a total of 48 respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire. Instrument testing techniques in this study include validity tests, reliability tests, and classical assumption tests. Data analysis used simple linear regression and calculation of the coefficient of determination (R²), while hypothesis testing was carried out through partial significance tests (T-Test) and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of the study indicate that: Training (X) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y); Training (X) has a significant effect on employee competency (Z); Competency (Z) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y); Competency (Z) does not moderate the effect of training (X) on employee performance (Y).
